U.S. Machine Tool Spending Declined by 17.7% in November 2010

On January 10, the American Manufacturing Technology Association (AMT) and the American Machine Tool Distributors Association (AMTDA) released the latest statistical data on US machine tool spending. In November 2010, the U.S. machine tool orders were 1985, a decrease of 2.26% from the previous month's 2031, and an increase of 90.5% from the 1042 in November 2009; among them, the number of metal-cutting machine orders was 1,951, and metal forming. Orders for machine tools are 85 units. In November, the total consumption of machine tools in the United States was 318 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 17.7% from the previous month's 386 million U.S. dollars and an increase of 81.1% from the 176 million U.S. dollars in November 2009. From January to November 2010, the cumulative spending of U.S. machine tools was US$2.793 billion, an increase of 82.7% from US$1.528 billion in the same period of 2009.

From a product category, in November, US metal cutting machine tool consumption was US$303 million, a decrease of 17.9% from US$369 million in the previous month and a significant increase of 97% from US$154 million in November 2009. The cost of metal forming and manufacturing machines was US$15.02 million, a decrease of 12.6% from US$17.19 million last month and a decrease of 311% from US$21.11 million in November 2009. From January to November 2010, US metal cutting machine tool consumption was US$2.608 billion, a year-on-year increase of 96.9%; metal forming and manufacturing machine tool spending was US$184 million, which was still a 9.5% year-on-year decrease.

AMTDA chairman Peter Borden pointed out: "November figures are figures that the rebound in U.S. manufacturing continues. Although the industry's capacity utilization rate is still lower than normal, the industry's confidence in 2011 has increased and the purchasing power has increased. The unexpected increase in demand resulted in a backlog of orders and delays in delivery, as well as an increase in prices."

PHE Spare Plate For APV

PHE stands for Plate Heat Exchanger, which is a device used to transfer heat between two fluids. APV is a brand that manufactures plate heat exchangers.
A spare plate for an APV plate heat exchanger refers to an additional plate that can be used as a replacement in case any of the existing plates get damaged or worn out. Having spare plates on hand ensures that the heat exchanger can continue to operate efficiently and effectively without any downtime.
Spare plates for APV plate heat exchangers can be purchased from authorized dealers or directly from the manufacturer. It is important to ensure that the spare plate is compatible with the specific model and size of the APV plate heat exchanger to ensure proper fit and function.
