Scheme principle
Send board:
The structure of the sending board mainly includes connectors for DVI, audio, and power, LED indicators, and dial switches. Its core is a FPGA, FPGA connects a 2.5G optical module, optical module has 3 choices:
3G unidirectional optical module
3G and 155M Asymmetric Bidirectional Optical Modules
3G symmetrical bidirectional optical module
The optical module adopts the SFP structure and can be plugged and unplugged at any time. Therefore, the above-mentioned 3 optical modules can be replaced at any time according to requirements.
Receiving board:
The structure of the receiving board is a connector surface, which mainly includes connectors for DVI, audio, power, etc., LED indicators, and dial switches.
The appearance of the receiving board and the emitting board is basically the same. We are designing the PCB board. We can design the board's dimensions in the same way as the connector's position so that the same chassis design can be used.
USB-NET expansion board:
The USB-NET expansion board mainly includes an MCU chip for extending one USB interface and one 10M/100M network PHY chip for extending a 10M/100M network interface. The USB-NET expansion board is connected to the sending board or receiving board through a pin header.
The USB-NET expansion board can expand two USB ports, one 10M/100M network interface, one infrared remote control input interface and one infrared remote control output interface.
The USB interface can be set to work in the master mode or slave mode, so that you can connect a USB mouse or keyboard, you can also connect the USB port on the host, for transparent USB mouse or keyboard, remote KVM control computer.
The 10M/100M network interface also transparently transmits network signals and realizes the function of a bridge. The two networks are connected through optical fibers.
The infrared remote control interface also transmits infrared control signals transparently, and uses optical fibers to realize the transparent transmission function of the infrared remote control signals.
DVI-I interface:
The DVI interface input chip and output chip selected in this solution both support DVI input or output and support VGA input and output at the same time. Therefore, the DVI connector can select the DVI-I connector so that the VGA input or output can be selected through the DVI-VGA adapter.
HDMI interface:
In this solution, the DVI connector of the sending board can be connected to the HDMI signal through the HDMI-DVI conversion connector, that is, it supports HDMI signal input with voice or HDCP encryption.
audio port:
In this scheme, both the sending board and the receiving board have audio input and audio output interfaces, and the audio input and audio output interfaces are two-channel stereo voice interfaces.
Through the voice interface, computer voice can be transmitted separately, and bidirectional intercom function can also be implemented.
The audio input/output mode can be set through the dial switch: The sending card and receiving card can set the audio output to video embedded audio, audio loop out, reverse audio, audio embedding and other functions.
Receiver board output resolution:
The output resolution of the receiving board supports 1920*1200@60Hz at maximum, and is backward compatible with all conventional resolutions.
