Zinc Coated Coil

Hot dip galvanized steel coil, also known as zinc coated steel coil, is a method to obtain metal coating by immersing steel components in molten zinc. In recent years, with the rapid development of high-voltage power transmission, transportation and communication, the protection requirements for steel parts are higher and higher, and the demand for hot-dip galvanizing is also increasing. The forming process of hot dip galvanized layer is the process of forming iron zinc alloy between the iron matrix and the outermost pure zinc layer. The iron zinc alloy layer is formed on the surface of the workpiece during hot dip galvanizing, which makes the iron and pure zinc layer combine well.

The process can be simply described as follows: when the iron workpiece is immersed in molten zinc, the solid melt of zinc and α iron (body core) is formed on the interface first. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of long anti-corrosion life and wide adaptability to the environment. It has been a very popular anti-corrosion treatment method. It is widely used in power tower, communication tower, railway, highway protection, street lamp pole, marine components, building steel structure components, substation ancillary facilities, light industry, etc.
