Tert-butyl Hydroperoxideis a hydroperoxide, in fact one of the most widely used in a variety of oxidation processes, for example the Halcon process.It is normally supplied as a 69–70% aqueous solution. Compared to hydrogen peroxide and organic peracids, tert-butyl hydroperoxide is less reactive and more soluble in organic solvents. Overall, it is renowned for the convenient handling properties of its solutions. Its solutions in organic solvents are highly stable.
Industrially, tert-butyl hydroperoxide is used to prepare propylene oxide. In the Halcon process, molybdenum-based catalysts are used for the reaction.
On a much smaller scale, tert-butyl hydroperoxide is used to produce some fine chemicals by the Sharpless epoxidation.

The 2016 China (Shiyan) Automobile Auto Parts Fair will be opened at the Shiyan International Convention and Exhibition Center on November 8th. At present, all preparatory work is progressing in an orderly manner. 
Yesterday, the reporter went to Shiyan Lin'an Business Logistics Park to see that the reform and expansion project of the Bailang section of the 316 National Road leading to the main venue of the exhibition was under construction. The road connecting Shiyan Lin'an Business Logistics Park and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Industrial Park had already been completed. 
At the Shiyan International Convention and Exhibition Center, the leveling of the square outside the exhibition hall has been basically completed, and the surface hardening has been completed by 70%. The exhibition hall is now stepping up its booth decoration. Booth style adopts white as the main color, and a total of 30 special booths and more than 500 standard booths are set.
